Doubles, Dice, and Dancing

Inquiry

We have been wrapping up our inquiry as Prairie Entomologists. Finishing slides, descriptive insect writing and doing a final brains storm of everything we now know about insects. Next week we will present our insect slide presentations. Here are some of our brainstorms of what we know about insects.

Math

This week we worked on doubles, doubles plus 1, and doubles word problems. In fact, students are probably doubled out by now, but please quiz them anyway. We also learned a new doubles dice game.

Dance

This Thursday, November 28th from 11:05am - 12:00pm, Come see what our students have learned from their dance residency over the past few weeks. You may be pressured into joining your child in dancing, dress appropriately. 

Literacy

Still working on our text-connections and comprehension strategies.
