As we finish our read aloud novel, James and the Giant Peach, students will have the opportunity to watch the movie on Thursday afternoon. Using a venn diagram, they have been practicing using compare and contrast words to create sentences. After the movie, we will take time to discuss what we noticed as similarities and differences between the book and the movie.
We are allowing students to bring a popcorn snack for themselves if they please while enjoying the movie. Please refrain from sending candy, pop, etc.
